From the mainland (Nice, Marseille, Toulon), there are regular boat connections to Corsica (Bastia, Ile-Rousse, Ajaccio, Porto-Vecchio) and fast ships arrive from Italy (Piombino, Livorno, Genoa, Savona). It is also possible to reach Corsica (Bonifacio, Propriano) via Sardinia (Porto Torres, Santa Teresa di Gallura).

To reach Corte, the best route is from Bastia.
How to get to Corte
Hiring a car or taking a taxi is usually necessary to reach the cities surrounding the airports. Bastia airport has a shuttle service (Bastia Poretta airport/Bastia train station) almost every hour for €8, except in the evening when the shuttle is less frequent. The last bus leaves at 10:45pm.
Beware: distances are long in Corsica and taking a taxi to Corte can be very expensive: between €150 and €200 from Ajaccio or Bastia.
